MATCH-7 DC Vs RR PREVIEW

We can say that yesterday's SRH's performance was a repeat telecast of KKR's performance in match 4.
Up to David warner's innings everything seems to be fine for SRH but after his dismissal King Kohli's magic move worked as he bring S.ahmed and he scalped 3 wickets in a single over and inspite of Rashid khan's short cameo SRH was on loosing side.

MOVING from Chennai today two young wicketkeepers will be against each other as Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals will be facing Sanju Samson's Rajasthan Royals in Wankhede.

Head to Head:   DC      RR

                                             11           11

Records say that these two teams give equal fight to each other but present scenario seems to be little different as DC has won last 5 games against RR and is all set to make it 6 but RR will also try to regain its dominance over Delhi by winning today's match.

TEAM REVIEW

DC :

After Shreyas Iyer's injury Rishabh Pant becomes the new face and captain of Delhi and in his first match as captain he was facing his inspiration M.S Dhoni and in this battle young Rishabh defeated his role model convincingly despite of not having their prime pace attack of Rabada and Nortje in team. Opening stand of Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw was awesome as they never allowed the opposition to be heavy on them and helped Delhi to clinch their first victory of the season.

Positives from the last match are Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw's re d hot form, Avesh khan's brilliant bowling as he can become a good option for DC to accompany South african pace attack of rabada and Nortje and last not the least Rishabh pant's confidence as a captain.

Negatives from the last match are poor performance by the experienced spin attack of Delhi as both Ashwin and Amit Mishra were offcolour which makes it hard for Delhi to take command  in middle overs. Tom Curran was also Offcolor but it do not seems to be a worry as now Rabada is availaible.

IDEAL PLAYING 11:

Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkay Rahane, Rishabh Pant(c)(wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, R Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Amit Mishra, Chris Woakes, Avesh Khan

RR:

Rajasthan royals took a bold decision to release Steve Smith and to make Sanju Samson as their new captain and with his classic and determining century he proved that he has the mettle to take challnegs. In previous match Rajasthan lost but at one stage due to Sanju's heroic they were in the driving seat. They should not be dissapointed as it was just the 1st match and they give a very tough fight to punjab. Ben Stokes is now not in team due  to injury and it is a very big loss for them as he is a run away match winner and their is no replacement for a player like him.

Positives from the last match are Sanju Samson's brilliant form and capability of taking new challanges as captain, Riyan Parag's good form and most important they have got a new Bowling option Chetan Sakariya who can give them good death bowling and crucial wickets at time when needed.

Negatives from the last match are Chris Morris's lack of effectiveness as he is the most costly player of the season and franchise always hopes that he delieves them. Team's spin attack is also not in form and Rahul Tewatia is also not contributing with bat and shivam Dube is also not in form.

IDEAL PLAYING 11:

Jos Buttler, Manan Vohra, Sanju Samson(c)(wk), Liam Livingstone, Riyan Parag, Shivam Dubey, Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris, Shreyas Gopal, Mustafizur Rahman, Chetan Sakariya

 KEY BATTLES TO WATCH:

Ashwin Vs Buttler

Rabada vs Sanju

Rabada Vs Buttler

Morris Vs Shaw

MY PREDICTION: Delhi Capitals will win this match
